January has been unusually creative at atwork on Köllunarklettsvegur, where the actors Edda Björgvinsdóttir and Elfa Ósk Gísladóttir have been using the space to rehearse the plays Tvær systur and Brúðkaup. The director is María Sigurðardóttir.
The project is a good example of how atwork spaces serve not only conventional companies, but also creative professionals who need a beautiful, quiet and encouraging place to work. The space on Köllunarklettsvegur has given the team room to concentrate, collaborate and create ahead of the performance.
We look forward to seeing Tvær systur and Brúðkaup on stage this autumn, when the work is premiered in Kaldalón at Harpa.
At atwork the aim is always the same: to offer workspace where different projects, different people and different ideas can flourish.
