Reykjavík Fintech, also known as the Fintech Cluster, has made an exciting move by signing a cooperation agreement with atwork. The partnership focuses on establishing a fintech innovation centre that will strengthen financial technology in Iceland.

Regus is a global company that specialises in flexible workspace. It offers solutions for businesses of every size, from startups to large corporations. As part of the IWG group, Regus is the world’s largest provider of flexible workspace.

atwork, a key partner here, provides a range of office space in several locations in the capital area. Members have access to meeting rooms and open workspace, so each person can find a suitable place to work. Membership includes access to workspace that atwork Fintech members can use at no extra cost.

In Iceland, atwork operates 16 locations. That gives members the freedom to choose a workplace that suits them. The atwork network keeps growing, with locations abroad as well.

Reykjavík Fintech’s base will be at Köllunarklettsvegur 1, in one of atwork’s office buildings. The location stands out for its air quality, design and service. It is a place where innovation can thrive.

atwork will also host a variety of Reykjavík Fintech events, in Iceland and abroad. One of the venues is Dixon Lounge on Laugavegur, known for its lively atmosphere.

Through this partnership, Reykjavík Fintech becomes part of a global community of about eight million people who use atwork facilities worldwide. That fits Reykjavík Fintech’s view that fintech solutions are becoming more international and crossing borders more often.

The cluster includes companies that are already established in international markets. It is therefore a good fit for those companies, and for new fintech startups, to have access to atwork offices.

This partnership between Reykjavík Fintech and atwork is a significant step for the fintech industry in Iceland. The collaboration will support innovation, provide essential resources, and create a lively community for people in fintech.
